3 fun things to do with kids in Sydney

Kids Fun Sydney

I’m often stuck for ideas on how to best entertain my god daughters when they visit us in Sydney, as I don’t have kids myself. Lucky for me, my Entertainment Membership is packed with ideas, inspiration and savings for family activities which make planning so much easier (and cheaper!). Here’s the details of my latest kids Entertainment expedition:

1. Breakfast with a view

We start the day with breakfast at City Extra where we can kick back, watch the water and fuel up for a big day of activities and sightseeing. Plus, we can save up to $40 off the total bill at City Extra with my Entertainment Membership too.

2. Discount at Taronga Zoo

After breakfast we hop on the ferry and head over to Taronga Zoo to soak up the stunning views of Sydney Harbour and check out the amazing wildlife. As an Entertainment Member we receive a discount on Taronga Zoo entry which saves us close to $30.

3. Ice-cream at Gelatissimo

After meeting all the furry, fluffy, feathered and scaly critters, we finish up with treats at Gelatissimo, (which they love – and I love the 2-for-1 deals) and I am crowned Uncle of the year, before they take their weary bones onto the train.  I’m off the hook for another month and thanks to my entertainment discounts, I have saved over $85 in just one day. That’s the cost of the Membership for the whole year more than paid for in one day alone. Now to check out the App for activities for next month, and lucky there’s hundreds more to choose from.

Meet the writer: Scott Wilson

Scott is a (not so closet) bargain hunter whose passion for saving was ignited when he started at Entertainment and saw how much he could save with an Entertainment Membership and a little planning. He loves cheap holiday fun, is a cinema aficionado and loves theme parks with as scary a ride as possible. You can find him (sort of like where’s wally) where there is an Entertainment discount to be found, redeeming his next deal.
